J.K.D (Jeet Kune Do) is the martial art developed by the late Bruce Lee. The system combines the traditional art of Wing Chun Gung-Fu with western style boxing and a number of kicking techniques not found within the traditional Wing Chun art including kicks from Muay Thai Boxing and Filipino Kali.

The J.K.D Kali system includes a wide range of trapping skills and still includes the traditional sensitivity training drills of Chi Sau (sticky hands) and Hubud Lubud (Filipino tying hands) plus the Filipino Boxing Art of Panantukan.
J.K.D is more a philosophy and process rather than a style of martial art and was Bruce Lee’s legacy to the martial arts world.
Jeet Kune Do (way of the intercepting fist) defines the ultimate realisation that martial arts is more a process of self-realisation than a group of specific techniques. At the heart of the JKD philosophy lie a variety of concepts such as functionality, economy of motion, control of range and others all of which underpin the process of defining J.K.D for the individual reality of combat.
