The art of grappling is as old as mankind itself. The reality of combat is that most real fights will end up in the grapple range. Understanding how to deal with an opponent at this range is critical to individual combat survival.

 

The grappling classes held at the Academy incorporate skills, drills and techniques from a wide range of grappling arts and train both gi and no-gi arts.

 

The two main systems taught are; Erik Paulson’s Combat Submission Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through Braulio Estima.
