Dragon Warrior’s Programme
Our Junior Martial Arts Programme consists of four distinct levels -
- Foundation Programme
- Intermediate Programme (Eligible for entry to the Black Belt Club)
- Advanced Programme (Eligible for entry to the Masters Club)
- Black Belt Leadership Programme
The Foundation Programme
This is an introductory 6 month programme which focuses on the discipline of Kickboxing. In this phase of training students are introduced to a wide variety of skills such as footwork training, evasion skills, blocking, punching, striking and kicking. All these skills are delivered along side the traditional values associated with the martial arts; values such as discipline, courtesy and respect.
- This programme will take your child from White Belt through to Green Belt level.
The Intermediate Programme
This 12 month programme develops previously learnt skills acquired in the Foundation Programme. The skills taught within this phase of training will introduce students to partner training utilising a variety of training aids designed to develop core skills such as co-ordination, speed, endurance and timing. Students who complete the Foundation Programme and gain the rank of Green Belt become eligible for our Black Belt Club Programme.
- This programme will take your child from Blue Belt through to lower Brown Belt level.
The Advanced Programme
This is a 14 month programme which continues developing all previous skills whilst introducing students to a wide variety of advanced skills. Students who have reached the rank of Brown Belt and are now eligible for entry to our Masters Club Programme and will begin working toward the level of Junior Black Belt.
- This programme will take your child from lower Brown Belt through to Primary Black Belt level and beyond.
Black Belt Leadership Programme
The Black Belt Leadership programme is for students who have completed the previous levels and have attained the coveted rank of Junior Black Belt. In this programme students refine and improve on all pre Black Belt skills whilst developing the qualities of Leadership through our Leadership Star Programme.
- This programme will take your child from Primary Black Belt through the Black Belt Star Programme before becoming an adult student at 16 years of age.
